How I Work

Beyond Quick Fixes

I don't believe that herpes stigma is something you can be "coached" out of. It's deeply tied to individual experiences, cultural messaging, and personal history. That's why I reject a one-size-fits-all approach.

As an educator, advocate, and mental health professional, I bring both professional expertise and lived experience to my work. I know firsthand how stigma shapes the way we see ourselves, our relationships, and our futures. I also know that healing isn't linear—and that the right support can make all the difference.

 Meeting You Where You Are

My work isn't built around one-off sessions but around a structured yet flexible framework that meets you where you are. This programmatic approach recognizes that transformative change requires more than just periodic conversations—it needs consistent support, educational foundation, and space for integration. Each person's sex education background, dating history, and emotional landscape is unique. While I offer structured programs, my approach adapts, because not everyone struggles in the same way. Some may need more support in dating and disclosure, while others may be working through self-acceptance and identity.

True growth happens over time, which is why I encourage students to engage in a process that allows for deeper shifts, not just quick fixes. I believe in collaborative learning, where you are the expert of your experiences. My role is to guide, provide tools, and create space for exploration, rather than imposing rigid frameworks. The work we do together is about sustainable change, and that requires time, care, and commitment.

Breaking Stigma, Building Confidence

While my primary focus is supporting people work through STI stigma, I understand that sexual health and relationships don't exist in isolation. Many of my students find that our work together naturally opens up conversations about broader aspects of their lives. My background in sex education and experience challenging societal norms has equipped me to support you in:

  • Navigating modern dating dynamics, from app-based connections to having meaningful conversations about values and boundaries
  • Building confidence in sexual health discussions beyond herpes, including conversations about testing, protection, and pleasure
  • Addressing internalized shame and stigma around sexuality and relationships more broadly
  • Finding authentic ways to date and connect that align with your values and desires, including navigating childfree dating and relationships
  • Developing strategies for communicating personal choices and boundaries in relationships

The skills we develop together—whether it's having difficult conversations, setting boundaries, or building self-acceptance—extend far beyond herpes management. They become tools for creating more fulfilling relationships and a more confident approach to dating and intimacy overall.

Accessibility Commitment

As someone who values accessibility, I understand that financial barriers can make seeking support feel out of reach. Your healing shouldn't be determined by your financial situation, which is why I maintain a limited number of sliding-scale spots in my programs. These spots help me balance accessibility with sustainability as a small business.

I also offer flexible payment plans for all of my services, allowing you to spread the investment over time in a way that works for your budget. Many students find this option makes the journey more manageable financially while still accessing the full support they need.

If financial concerns are holding you back from reaching out, please don't hesitate to inquire about sliding scale availability or payment plan options. Additionally, I'm committed to sharing valuable free resources through my platforms for those who aren't in a position to invest in one-on-one support right now.

Ways to Work Together

Based on this philosophy, I offer several pathways for support, each designed to meet you where you are in your journey.  Whether you need quick, evidence-based answers or deeper support through one of my structured programs, there’s an option for you

  • Educational Content & Writing: Follow my work through articles, social media, and in-depth resources that break stigma and build confidence.
